Abstract:
Disclosed is a self-cleaning device that removes droplets, high-viscosity liquid substances, or mixed substances by means of heat generation, application of multiple voltages, or vibration. The self-cleaning device comprises: a metal material layer disposed on a solid material layer; and a hydrophobic film disposed on the metal material layer. Here, the metal material layer has a viewing unit made of a conductive material and a heating unit disposed outside or inside the viewing unit, power is applied to the viewing unit and the heating unit to generate heat from the viewing unit and the heating unit, the heat generated from the heating unit is transmitted to the viewing unit, and droplets present on the surface of the self-cleaning device are removed by means of the heat generated from the viewing unit and the heat transmitted from the heating unit, or the volume or surface tension of the droplets is reduced.
