Abstract:
This fuel tank system comprises a fuel storage unit, a processing unit, and a control unit. The fuel storage unit seals a fuel tank. The fuel storage unit has a sealing valve. The processing unit processes fuel boil-off gas in the fuel tank. The control unit performs a first failure diagnosis in which a failure of the fuel storage unit is diagnosed when the sealing valve is in a closed state, and, if the first failure diagnosis diagnoses the fuel storage unit as being normal, a second failure diagnosis in which a failure of the processing unit is diagnosed when the sealing valve is in a closed state.
