Abstract:
A full screen implementation method for a video, and an electronic device. The method comprises: receiving a trigger operation when a current web page is displayed in a browser, wherein the current web page comprises a video window, and a target video is displayed in the video window (S101); displaying the target video in a full-screen mode according to a pre-set full-screen interface in a system kernel based on the trigger operation and a pre-modification on the system kernel, wherein the pre-modification comprises: modifying a default full-screen interface in the system kernel into the pre-set full-screen interface; and modifying a starting priority of the pre-set full-screen interface, so that the starting priority of a pre-set starting interface is higher than the priority of the pre-set full-screen interface at the current web page (S102). The method and device can solve the problem in the existing art that the loss of operation functions and the poor full-screen display status during the full-screen playing of videos in each web page. This achieves improving the full-screen playing effect of the web page video and the technical effect of consistency.
