Abstract:
Provided is novel furniture item with a top plate, capable of effectively improving mounting precision in a height direction of a beam even when an unworked beam is to be mounted to a support structure. According to the present invention, a support structure A is formed by linking, by using a beam 3, multiple legs 1, 2 serving as supports. The present invention is provided with: a first bracket 71 which is tightly linked to the respective legs (1, 2), and which has a recessed section 71c that opens downward; and a fixing implement 74 which can be attached to and detached from the first bracket 71. For the purpose of supporting a top plate 4 on the support structure A, the beam 3 is brought into contact with the underpart of the recessed section 71c of the first bracket 71, while the fixing implement 74 is brought into contact with the underpart of the beam 3 from a position that faces the first bracket 71, so that the first bracket 71 and the fixing implement 74 are connected via the beam 3 being pinched therebetween.
