Abstract:
A heat exchanger comprising: a plurality of flattened pipes having a flattened cross-section; and a plurality of flattened U-bend pipes having a flattened cross-section and a U-shaped appearance . A plurality of rows of flattened pipes are provided with the flattened pipes multi-layered in a constant direction, and are arranged in a direction intersecting the constant direction. The plurality of rows of flattened pipes are arranged in a staggered configuration. The flattened U-bend pipes are disposed at the connection portions between the rows of the flattened pipes. Each of the flattened U-bend pipes is twisted so that the longitudinal axes of the flattened cross sections of both ends of the U-bend face the same direction as the longitudinal axes of the flattened cross sections of the flattened pipes connected to both ends of the U-bend.
