Abstract:
In order to resolve the problem that it is difficult to align items of furniture during stacking, an item of furniture D with a top plate is provided with a top plate 2, a left and right pair of leg support struts 12 supporting a usage-opposing edge 2b side of the top plate 2, and a left and right pair of leg bases 11 of which proximal end sides are connected to lower edge portions of the leg support struts 12 and distal end sides extend to a usage edge 2c side of the top plate 2, wherein inside surfaces 11b of the two leg bases 11 positioned on the distal end side of the leg support struts 12 are caused to face one another, and wherein: an inner dimension L1 between the inside surfaces 11b of the two leg bases 11 is set to be greater than an outer width dimension L0 between outside surfaces 12a of the two leg support struts 12; and the inside surfaces 11b of the leg bases 11 are inclined in a direction such that the inner dimension L1 gradually increases from the proximal end side toward the distal end side.
