Abstract:
Provided are a gas-shielded arc welding method, a welded joint, and a production method therefor. According to the present invention, in gas-shielded arc welding for performing one-side butt welding on thick steel plates, a ceramic backing material is attached to a bottom surface of a groove, a welding current I is set to 200-450 A, a welding voltage V is set to 25-50 V, a welding heat input Q is controlled so as to fall within the range of expression 1 below, and one-pass first-layer welding is performed. Expression 1: 0.4×G-1≤Q≤0.6×G+1, where G shown in expression 1 denotes a root gap (mm).
