Abstract:
A glass material is provided, which rarely undergoes disadvantages such as the occurrence of crystallization and the formation of a devitrified material while keeping a desired optical property.　Provided is a glass material characterized by having a refractive index of 1.8 or more and a content of Al2O3 of more than 0 ppm and 500 ppm or less.
