Abstract:
Provided is a method that can further increase operability with respect to the operation of an object operated through a touch panel. The present invention is a method executed by a computer equipped with a touch panel, the method including: a step for holding one or a plurality of data points acquired based on a touch event as a data point string once per predetermined amount of time; a step for determining a displacement speed corresponding to the speed at which a position where a touch event has occurred is displaced in the data point string on the basis of a displacement of the data points in the held data point string, and determining a weighted speed of a most recently determined displacement speed on the basis of at least the deviation with respect to the average value of the displacement speeds determined prior to the most recently determined displacement speed; and a step for determining a converted weighted speed for determining a parameter of the object operated in a virtual space by inputting the determined weighted speed to a prescribed function.
