Abstract:
This grease composition contains a thickener and a base oil, wherein the thickener is a urea compound represented by expression (1) below,
R1-NHCONH-R2-NHCONH-R3 (1)
(In the expression, R2 represents a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group of 6-15 carbons, R1 and R3 can be the same or different, and represent an alkyl group of 8-22 carbons, a cyclohexyl group or an aryl group of 6-18 carbons.); one or more compounds represented by expression (2) make up at least 40 mass% of the base oil with respect to the total mass of the base oil in the grease composition.
(In the expression, R4 and R5 can be the same or different, and represent a linear or branched alkyl group of 10-26 carbons. m and n are real numbers greater than or equal to zero, and satisfying m+n=2.)
