Abstract:
One aspect of the present disclosure provides a grommet which makes it possible to improve a water sealing property. A grommet (20) according to one aspect of the present disclosure is provided with: a base section (21) which is affixed to a through-hole (12) provided to a chassis panel, a cylindrical tube section (22) which surrounds the outer circumference of a wire harness (13) that passes through the through-hole (12); and a linking section (23) which links the base section (21) and the base of the tube section (22) while allowing tilting movement of the tube section (22). The linking section (23) has a compression tolerance section (31) provided on a first direction (X1) side and a tension tolerance section (32) provided on a second direction (X2) side such that stress applied to the base section (21) is lower when the tip side of the tube section (22) is tilted towards the first direction (X1) side in the circumferential direction than when the tip side of the tube section (22) is tilted towards the second direction (X2) side which is opposite the first direction (X1) side.
