Abstract:
Provided is a nucleic acid that inhibits the function of a target miRNA. A double-stranded nucleic acid complex containing a first nucleic acid strand, which has a base length of 6-30 and hybridizes with the target miRNA to thereby inhibit the function of the target miRNA, and a second nucleic acid strand which is complementary to the fist nucleic acid strand, wherein: the first nucleic acid strand is a mixmer comprising a natural nucleoside and a non-natural nucleoside; and the second nucleic acid strand contains one or more inter-modified nucleoside bonds and/or one or more sugar-modified nucleosides.
