Abstract:
The present invention discloses a halogen-free flame-retardant polypropylene composition, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The composition comprises the following components: 50-65 parts of polypropylene; 18-21 parts of an ammonium polyphosphate flame retardant; 4-6 parts of a triazine-based macromolecular charring agent; 12-17 parts of a synergist; and 0.2-0.5 parts of an anti-dripping agent. The halogen-free flame-retardant polypropylene composition prepared in the present invention has a high flame-retardant efficiency, can pass vertical burning tests for 2.0-mm-thick and 3.0-mm-thick specimens, and can even pass a vertical burning test for a 1.0-mm-thick specimen. The composition can not only be used for producing conventional flame-retardant products, but can also be used for producing thin-walled products (having a thickness of less than or equal to 2 mm), has a good precipitation resistance, and can still meet the requirement for flame retardance after a high-temperature boiling experiment.
