Abstract:
Disclosed is a harmful gas removing medium, mainly relating to a medium for removing harmful gases of the permanganate type. Adding suitable types and amounts of a binder and a foaming agent not only ensures the mechanical strength of a harmful gas removing medium, but also increases the porosity inside the harmful gas removing medium, and decreases the probability of clogging the gas passage caused by the precipitation of a permanganate, thereby decreasing the amount of a permanganate used, simplifying the preparation process, prolonging the service life, and decreasing the maintenance cost thereof. The medium is more suitable for large-scale production and manufacturing.
