Abstract:
In this head-exchangeable cutting tool, a cutting head (11) including a cutting edge (12) is detachably attached to a tip portion of a tool body (1) that rotates around an axial line (O) in a tool rotation direction (T). At least a portion of the tip surface of the tool body (1) is a flat body side abutting surface (5) perpendicular to the axial line (O). At least a portion of the rear end surface of the cutting head (11) is a flat head side abutting surface (17) perpendicular to the axial line. The tool body (1) and the cutting head (11) are attached to each other as the body side abutting surface (5) abuts and is in close contact with the head side abutting surface (17). An outer peripheral edge (17a) of the head side abutting surface (17) protrudes radially to the outer peripheral side with respect to the axial line (O) from an outer peripheral edge (5a) of the body side abutting surface (5).
