A head-mounted device (1) and a control method therefor. The head-mounted device (1) comprises: a main unit (11); a connection unit (12), the connection unit (12) and the main unit (11) defining a wearing space for a head; a detection unit, the detection unit detecting the tightness of the connection unit (12); and an adjustment unit, the adjustment unit adjusting the length of the connection unit (12) according to a detection result of the detection unit, so as to adjust the wearing space.
