Abstract:
A head-mounted display device data acquisition method, apparatus, and host computer, and a head-mounted display device, the method comprising: acquiring user head posture information collected by a head posture sensor, the head posture sensor being arranged in a head-mounted display device (S101); on the basis of the head posture information and the current display scenario of the head-mounted display device, determining a predicted head position at the next rendering time, the current display scenario being the display scenario of the head-mounted display device at the current rendering time (S102); on the basis of the predicted head position and video data of the current rendering time, acquiring current video rendering corresponding to the current rendering time, so that the head-mounted display device displays the video rendering at the current rendering time and a target timewarp frame, the current video rendering comprising the video rendering and timewarp frames of the next rendering time, and the target timewarp frame being one of said timewarp frames (S103). By means of predictive tracking of the head movement of the user at the next rendering time, and obtaining timewarp frames of the next rendering time by performing processing at the current rendering time, the present method enables the current video data of the head-mounted display device to include timewarp frames between the current rendering time and the next rendering time, to thereby reduce the display screen delay perceived by the user of the head-mounted display device and effectively reduce the dizziness of the user.
