Abstract:
The present invention provides a head-up display device capable of controlling vibrations in a reflective mirror. The head-up display device comprises: a display unit that emits display light; and a mirror unit that reflects the display light from the display unit toward a front glass. The mirror unit includes: a concave mirror 31 having a mirror surface for reflecting the display light; a concave mirror holder 35 having a lever 38 and serving to retain the concave mirror 31; a mirror driver for rotating the concave mirror holder 35 together with the concave mirror 31 about a rotary axis Ax; a coil spring 45 having a first end locked to the concave mirror holder 35 and a second end locked to a spring locking section; and a switch unit 48 that is pressed by the lever 38 when the concave mirror 31 is in a parked position. The coil spring 45 is oriented so that the coil axis Ic of the coil spring 45 conforms to a direction D tangential to the direction C in which the concave mirror 31 rotates about the rotary axis Ax in a state in which the concave mirror 31 is in the parked position.
