Provided are a health care assistance device, a method for operating the same, a health care assistance program, and a health care assistance system with which it is possible to provide assistance for performing an examination instruction that is suitable for an examination department.　A health care assistance device (10) comprising a processor (14), wherein the processor (14): acquires for-instruction examination information pertaining to the type of examination assessed by a health care professional; acquires inquiry information through speech in an inquiry; acquires association information, in which the inquiry information and actual examination information pertaining to an examination that is actually performed are associated in advance; generates, on the basis of the inquiry information and the association information, estimated examination information in which the type of the examination that is actually performed is estimated; generates a result of comparison of the for-instruction examination information and the estimated examination information; and controls alerting on the basis of the result of comparison.
