Abstract:
The present invention improves the ease of assembly of the structure of a duct connection-type heat exchanger. This heat exchanger has a housing 1 comprising a core accommodating portion 2 having a seam portion, and a duct portion 3 having a seam connected to the seam portion of the core accommodating portion, and is characterized in that: the seam portion of the core accommodating portion 2 includes a stepped portion 5 stepped toward the core 11 by the thickness of the seam portion of the duct portion 3; in a state in which the seam portion of the duct portion 3 is fitted in the stepped portion 5, the outer surface of the duct portion 3 in the vicinity of the seam portion is formed flush; and a lid 7 is aligned with an opening portion 1b of the housing 1 comprising the core accommodating portion 2 and the duct portion 3 integrated together, the lid 7 having at the outer periphery thereof a rising edge portion 8 rising on the housing 1 side.
