Title:
HEAT-RESISTANT RECOMBINANT HOST, METHOD FOR PRODUCING HEAT-RESISTANT RECOMBINANT HOST, METHOD FOR IMPARTING HEAT RESISTANCE TO HOST, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING USEFUL SUBSTANCE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/246522
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a host imparted with heat resistance. In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a heat-resistant recombinant host (e.g., cell, organism) operably containing a nucleic acid encoding a transgene group for proteins which are at least two enzymes. The enzymes can be used in the same primary metabolic pathway. In one embodiment, this heat-resistant recombinant host according to the present disclosure has a transgene group such that the transgene group can be expressed, the transgene group encoding a group of enzymes that play a part in at least one primary metabolic pathway such that the pathway can function. Compared to an original host without the transgene group, such a heat-resistant recombinant host is imparted with heat resistance, and is regarded as a heat-resistant host.
