Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a heteropoly oligosaccharide and an application thereof in improving plant disease resistance. The heteropoly oligosaccharide contains seven D-glucose residues and one D-galactose residue. Each heteropoly oligosaccharide molecule contains or does not contain a monomolecular pyruvoyl group, and a monomolecular succinyl group, and the structure thereof is represented by formula (I). The heteropoly oligosaccharide of the present invention can induce plant leaves to produce H2O2, enhance the activity of plant resistance enzymes, and stimulate the production of phytoalexins of plants, thereby improving the resistance of the plants to pathogenic bacteria infection; therefore, the heteropoly oligosaccharide is suitable for preventing and treating diseases of various crops and plants caused by pathogenic bacteria.
