A high-efficiency self-generator according to the present invention comprises: a rotating body assembly which includes an outer rotor formed to be rotatable about a first center axis as a center point of rotation and a plurality of inner rotors formed to be rotatable about a second center axis, located between the first center axis and the outer rotor, as a center point of rotation; a power generation device which is connected to the outer rotor and produces electricity by rotation of the outer rotor; a pedal device which converts external force generated by a user into rotational driving force; a gear device which transmits rotational driving force generated by the pedal device to the inner rotors to thereby rotate the inner rotors; a reducer device which can change the power transmission ratio between the pedal device and the gear device; an actuator device which transmits rotational driving force generated by the pedal device to the outer rotor to thereby rotate the outer rotor; and a gear control device which periodically engages/disengages driving of the gear device so that rotation of the inner rotors is intermittently performed.
