Abstract:
This high frequency heating apparatus (1A) comprises: a flat plate shaped first electrode (11); a flat plate shaped plurality of second electrodes (12); a high frequency power supply (20); a matching unit (30); a control unit (40); and an electric field adjustment unit (50). The plurality of second electrodes (12) are placed opposing the first electrode (11). The high frequency power supply (20) applies high frequency voltage to the first electrode (11). The matching unit (30) is placed between the first electrode (11) and the high frequency power supply (20), and achieves impedance matching with the high frequency power supply (20). The control unit (40) controls the high frequency power supply (20). The electric field adjustment unit (50) individually adjusts the electric field intensity in a plurality of regions formed between the first electrode (11) and the plurality of second electrodes (12). With this mode, it is possible to reduce uneven heating.
