Abstract:
A high-rubber penetration steel cord having a 2+2+8×N structure, comprising a core strand (10) formed by twisting four core steel wires (01, 02) in the center layer, and eight outer strand steel wires (03) arranged around and twisted with the core strand (10). The core steel wires (01, 02) comprise two first steel wires (01) and two second steel wires (02); the two first steel wires (01) in the center layer are twisted first, and the two second steel wires (02) are then twisted around the two twisted first steel wires (01) to form the core strand (10); the eight outer strand steel wires (03) are twisted around the core strand (10) to form a twelve-strand steel cord having an oval cross section. The core strand in the center layer of the steel cord and the outer steel wires thereof are twisted in the same direction to increase the gap between the steel wires around the core strand and the steel wires of the core strand, thereby providing a channel for rubber to flow during tire vulcanization, enhancing the anchoring effect of the rubber on the outer strand and the core strand, preventing tire failure caused by strength and adhesion problems during use of the tire, improving the corrosion resistance, adhesion property, and adhesion retention of the tire, and prolonging the service life of the tire.
