Abstract:
Provided are: a high-strength steel sheet having excellent strength, workability in terms of λ and the like, and energy absorption characteristics; and a method for manufacturing same. This high-strength steel sheet has a specific component composition and a steel structure comprising, by area ratio, 1-35% of a ferrite having an aspect ratio of not less than 2.0, not more than 10% of a ferrite having an aspect ratio of less than 2.0, less than 5% of a non-recrystallized ferrite, 40-80% of bainite and a carbide-containing martensite in total, 5-35% of a fresh martensite and residual austenite in total, and 3-35% of residual austenite, wherein the carbon content in the residual austenite is 0.40-0.70 mass%.
