Abstract:
Provided is a high voltage amplifier that allows shoot-through currents to be held stably without individual adjustment. A high voltage amplifier comprising: an input circuit for amplifying an input signal; a positive-side level shift circuit connected to the input circuit; a negative-side level shift circuit connected to the input circuit; a high voltage output circuit including a positive-side output circuit for amplifying a signal from the positive-side level shift circuit and a negative-side output circuit for amplifying a signal from the negative-side level shift circuit; and a feedback circuit for feeding an output signal from the high voltage output circuit back to the input signal. The high voltage amplifier is further provided with a detection circuit for detecting currents through the positive-side output circuit and the negative-side output circuit, and an offset adjusting circuit for increasing an offset amount of the negative-side level shift circuit on the negative side when the current through the positive-side output circuit has increased, and for increasing an offset amount of the positive-side level shift circuit on the positive side when the current through the negative-side output circuit has increased.
