Abstract:
A hot and cold water supply system 10 for an aircraft supplies hot and cold water to a hot and cold water discharge port 12 inside the aircraft. A cold water channel 16 supplies cold water to the hot and cold water discharge port 12. A hot water channel 18 supplies hot water to the hot and cold water discharge port 12. A first control valve 30 adjusts the flow of cold water flowing through the cold water channel 16. A second control valve 32 adjusts the flow of hot water flowing through the hot water channel 18. A flow sensor 36 detects the flow of water in any area up to the hot and cold water discharge port 12. On the basis of the water temperature detected by the flow sensor 36, a flow control unit 40 controls the positions of the first control valve 30 and the second control valve 32 in a manner such that the amount of hot and cold water discharged from the hot and cold water discharge port 12 equals a prescribed target flow.
