A hot dip galvanized steel sheet having an excellent surface appearance, according to one aspect of the present invention, comprises a base steel sheet and a zinc plating layer, wherein the zinc plating layer includes a continuous Al-rich layer formed within 100 nm from a surface of the zinc plating layer.
