Abstract:
This hot rolled steel sheet comprises a base steel sheet and a scale formed on a surface of the base steel sheet, wherein the base steel sheet has a predetermined chemical composition, the scale has a layer structure composed of wustite, magnetite, and hematite in this order from the base steel sheet, or a layer structure composed of the wustite and the magnetite, and when the thickness of the scale is s, the thickness of the hematite is h, and when the thickness of the magnetite is m, s, h, and m satisfy expression (1) of (h+m)/s < 0.20 and expression (2) of h ≦ m/4.
