This hot-water-storage-type hot water supply unit comprises outflow piping (28) that supplies hot water from a hot water storage tank (10) to a second heating heat exchanger (11). The hot water storage tank (10) has a cylindrical tank barrel part (10A), and a lower panel (10B) that is joined to the lower end of the tank barrel part (10A). An outflow opening (28a) is provided to an end section of the outflow piping (28) within the hot water storage tank (10). An inflow opening (27c) is provided to an end section of inflow piping (27) within the hot water storage tank (10). The outflow opening (28a) is positioned above a first joined section (10D), which is a joined section of the tank barrel part (10A) and the lower panel (10B). The inflow piping (27) discharges hot water downward from the inflow opening (27c) into the hot water storage tank (10). A vertical-direction distance (L1) between the outflow opening (28a) and the first joined section (10D) is greater than a vertical-direction distance (L2) between the lower end of the lower panel (10B) and the first joined section (10D).
