Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hybrid electric propulsion system for a ship and, more particularly, to a hybrid electric propulsion system for a ship, the system comprising: a power supply unit for providing electrical energy to the inside of a ship; an engine unit connected to the power supply unit so as to generate driving power; and a propulsion unit connected to the engine unit so as to apply propulsive power, wherein the engine unit generates driving power by using the electrical energy supplied through the power supply unit, and the propulsion unit can propel the ship with the driving power generated by the engine unit.
