Title:
HYBRID VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/052758
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When an engine start is requested and when a power request is made by a driver, a power
requesting ignition timing is set as an ignition timing that enables a large power
output quickly from the engine in response to that power request (S210). In the
absence of a power request by the driver and when the vehicle is not stopping and
therefore is traveling, almost no chattering noise is produced due to torque being
applied to a drive shaft and therefore a vibration controlling ignition timing
as an ignition timing for reducing vehicle vibration is set (S220); when it is
stopping, chattering noise is produced if torque is too small and therefore a
chattering controlling ignition timing is set as an ignition timing so that torque
that does not allow gears in a gear mechanism to repeat contacting/separating between
them is produced even if torque variation is caused by the engine (S230).
