Abstract:
A hydraulic controller (15) uses a switching unit (100) to set a hydraulic passage (L) between a source pressure generating unit (14), which supplies engagement pressure (PE), and a hydraulic servo (16) of a clutch (K0) to a first state during normal operation, and to a second state when a failure occurs in which current to a control solenoid valve (19) is switched off. When current to the control solenoid valve (19) is switched off, a source pressure (PL) is directly outputted as the engagement pressure (PE) to the hydraulic servo (19). However, since the hydraulic passage (L) is in a second state, in which pipe pressure resistance is higher than in the first state, until at least the clutch (K0) engages, a rise in the engagement pressure (PE), which is supplied when a failure occurs, can be moderated.
