Abstract:
A hydraulic disc brake caliper, comprising a right side brake caliper body (8) and a left side brake caliper body (10). The lower parts of the right side brake caliper body (8) and the left side brake caliper body (10) are fixedly connected to a hydraulic controller (12) by means of communication pipes (9). Fixing discs (14) are mounted at the positions which are outside of the right side brake caliper body (8) and the left side brake caliper body (10) and correspond to the communication pipes (9). Pressure control pipes (7) are mounted inside the right side brake caliper body (8) and the left side brake caliper body (10). The brake caliper is fixed onto a vehicle frame. Two brake pads (5) on the brake caliper are respectively mounted on two sides of a brake disc (1). Upon receiving the effect of the hydraulic pressure transported by an oil pipe, the piston of a wheel cylinder pushes the brake pads (5) against the brake disc (1) to achieve friction braking, forcing the brake disc to stop. As such, the brake works effectively and can ensure a relatively long service life of the brake caliper.
