Abstract:
A novel parking brake caliper comprising a brake disk (1), a brake piston (9), and a brake fluid guide pipe (10). A brake caliper (5) is mounted on the brake disk (1). A brake caliper pin (4) is mounted on the front surface wall of the brake caliper (5). Also, a first brake pad (6), a second brake pad (7), and a heat sink (12) are mounted on the brake caliper (5). The first brake pad (6) is arranged at the left side of the heat sink (12). The second brake pad (7) is arranged at the right side of the heat sink (12). The brake piston (9) is mounted at the right side of the brake caliper (5). Also, an exhaust vent (8) is provided on the brake piston (9). A wheel flange (3) is mounted on the front surface wall of the brake disk (1). A fixing apparatus (11) is mounted at the center of the wheel flange (3). By arranging the first brake pad (6) and the second brake pad (7) between the brake caliper (5) and the brake disk (1), the speed of a vehicle when traveling can be reduced to a stop at the fastest rate, and no jittering is produced. The heat sink (12) effectively and quickly dissipates the heat produced between the brake pads (6 and 7) and the brake disk (1) to the external environment, thus extending the service life of the brake pads (6 and 7).
