Abstract:
This hydrocarbon combustion system (100) is equipped with: an electrolytic device (106) for producing hydrogen using electrical power produced from renewable energy; a hydrocarbon generator (108) for producing hydrocarbons using hydrogen produced by the electrolytic device (106) and carbon dioxide; a hydrocarbon storage unit (112) for storing the hydrocarbons produced by the hydrocarbon generator (108); a closed combustor (114) for combusting the hydrocarbons removed from the hydrocarbon storage unit (112); and a gas-liquid separation unit (116) for separating carbon dioxide and water generated by combustion of the hydrocarbon, sending the carbon dioxide to the hydrocarbon generator (108), and sending the water to the electrolytic device (106).
