Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polymer which is capable of exerting good dispersibility with respect to hydrophobic particles.
The present invention is a hydrophobic group-containing copolymer which has a structural unit (A) derived from a hydrophobic group-containing monomer represented by formula (1) and a structural unit (B) derived from a carboxylic acid monomer, and which is characterized in that: the ratio of the structural unit (A) in the copolymer is from 16% by mass to 50% by mass (inclusive) relative to 100% by mass of structural units derived from all monomers; and the weight average molecular weight of the copolymer is 10,000-1,000,000.
