Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hydroxyapatite-hydrogel complex for protecting and delivering probiotics in an acidic environment, comprising, as active ingredients, hydroxyapatite, hydrogel and probiotics. By encapsulating probiotics in the complex, the internal pH of the hydrogel is maintained even in a gastric juice environment, and thus the survival rate of probiotics in the gastric juice can be increased and delivery rate to the large intestine can be improved.
