Abstract:
The present invention relates to a binder for an aqueous silicon anode containing a lambda carrageenan-based polymer, to a silicon anode comprising same, and to a lithium secondary battery comprising same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, lambda carrageenan contains multiple hydroxyl (-OH) groups and sulfonyl (-SO3 -) functional groups and can form strong hydrogen bonds with silicon. In addition, since sulfonyl (-SO3 -) functional groups are present in lambda carrageenan, lithium ion conductivity can be further improved.
