The present disclosure addresses the problem of providing an illumination system that is capable of performing illumination for a wider variety of dramatic presentations as compared to conventional art. An illumination system (A1) comprises a first LED module, a second LED module, a driving device, a control device, and a support device (4). The first LED module emits first light of a plurality of colors onto an irradiated surface (S10). The second LED module emits second light of a plurality of colors onto the irradiated surface (S10). The driving device drives the first LED module and the second LED module. The control device controls the driving device to perform color adjustment and light dimming separately for the first light and the second light. The support device (4) supports the first LED module and the second LED module. The support device (4) supports the first LED module and the second LED module such that, on the irradiated surface (S10), a part of a first illumination range which is illuminated by the first light and a part of a second illumination range which is illuminated by the second light overlap.
