Abstract:
Provided is an image acquisition device 1001 that acquires an image by using terahertz waves, the image acquisition device including: a generating unit 112 in which a plurality of generating elements that generate terahertz waves are disposed on a disposition face 117; an irradiation optical system 111 that irradiates an object with the terahertz waves; an image-forming optical system 101 that forms an image with the terahertz waves reflected by the object; and a sensor 102 including a plurality of pixels, wherein the plurality of generating elements at least include a first generating element 113 and a second generating element 114 having different irradiation angles with respect to the object, and a region of the object irradiated with a first terahertz wave 156 from the first generating element and a region of the object irradiated with a second terahertz wave 157 from the second generating element have an overlapping region where these regions overlap each other.
