Abstract:
A CPU performs a gray-scale value slope computation processing of, e. g., an R signal
at step S10, performs isotropic variation feature value computation processing
from the gray-scale value slope computed at step S11, and performs a polyp candidate
detection processing to create a polyp candidate image (26) in a position where
a polyp is present by using the isotropic variation feature value computed at
step S12. Thus, the detection of the position where a luminal abnormal tissue
is present is improved.
