Abstract:
This image capture device 10 is provided with an acquisition unit 42A, a setting unit 42C, a brightness calculation unit 42D, a change amount calculation unit 42E, an update unit 42H, and an exposure control unit 42G. The acquisition unit 42A acquires a captured image. On the basis of setting information, the setting unit 42C sets a region 50 to be detected, which includes a plurality of detection regions 52, in the captured image. The brightness calculation unit 42D calculates the brightnesses of the detection regions 52 included in the region 50 to be detected in the captured image. The change amount calculation unit 42E calculates the amounts of change in the detection regions 52 relative to the previously calculated brightnesses. The update unit 42H updates the setting information on the basis of the amounts of change in the detection regions 52. The exposure control unit 42G controls exposure during image capture by an image capture unit 12 on the basis of the brightness, in the captured image, of the region 50 to be detected which is set on the basis of the updated setting information.
