Abstract:
Provided are an image capturing device, a control method for the image capturing device, and a control program for the image capturing device which can improve the image quality of an image of a moving body. The image capturing device (10) is provided with: an image capturing unit which includes an image capturing element (22) in which a plurality of pixels (90) are arrayed in a two-dimensional shape, and outputs an image signal obtained by capturing an image of a subject by the image capturing element (22) through an image capturing optical system; an image processing unit (56) which generates a captured image according to the image signal; a determination unit which determines whether the moving body image is included in the captured image by executing an exposure control process; and a CPU(74) which functions as an exposure amount control unit that controls an exposure amount of the image capturing element (22) by a first process for controlling an exposure time of the image capturing element (22) for each row of the array of the plurality of pixels (90), when the moving body image is determined to be included in the captured image by the determination unit, and that controls an exposure amount of the image capturing element (22) by a second process different from the first process, when the moving body image is not determined to be included in the captured image by the determination unit.
