Abstract:
An image data processing method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes: acquiring first image data indicating a hyperspectral image of a subject captured under a first background light; generating first spectral data indicating an estimated spectrum of the first background light, on the basis of the first image data; and using the first spectral data and at least one type of second spectral data indicating the spectrum of at least one second background light different from the first background light to generate, from the first image data, second image data indicating an image of the subject illuminated by the second background light.
