Abstract:
Provided are an image display device, a method, and a program that enable display of an optimal captured image or the like among a plurality of captured images including the pixels of desired three-dimensional points of a subject. By displaying a three-dimensional model of a subject on a display unit and performing a view operation, such as enlargement, on the three-dimensional model, a desired position on the subject can be easily designated. When a desired position on the subject is designated, the three-dimensional position on the three-dimensional model corresponding to the position is specified, and a plurality of captured images each including a pixel corresponding to the specified three-dimensional position are retrieved from a group of captured images of the subject. An optimal captured image is determined from among the plurality of retrieved captured images or a priority order is determined for the plurality of retrieved captured images, and the determined optimal captured image is displayed on the display unit, or some or all of the plurality of captured images are displayed on the display unit in accordance with the determined priority order.
