Abstract:
In order to guide the mounting state of a head-mounted image display device to a region in which visual recognition is possible, which is a designed correct position, a head-mounted image display device 100 comprises an image acquisition unit 104 for acquiring a positional relationship image from which can be estimated a positional relationship between the pupil position of a user eyeball and the region in which visual recognition by the user is possible, and a projection system 103 whereby incident light is projected, the region in which visual recognition is possible being the focal position of the projection system 103. The image display device 100 has an imaging element, and the imaging element acquires a three-dimensional positional relationship image.
