Abstract:
A solid-state imaging element according to the present feature comprises a pixel array section in which a plurality of pixels having photoelectric conversion units are arranged, wherein the pixel array section has, as pixels, first pixels for obtaining gradation signals indicating the intensity of received light, and second pixels for detecting that change in the amount of received light has exceeded a prescribed threshold value, and the capacitance of the photoelectric conversion units of the second pixels is greater than the capacitance of the photoelectric conversion units of the first pixels.
