Abstract:
This image display device is provided with a half mirror 14, an image output device 13 which outputs light onto one surface F1 of the half mirror 14, and a retroreflective member which retro-reflects light that has been specularly reflected on the one surface of the half mirror 14 and/or light that has been transmitted through the one surface of the half mirror 14. The retroreflective member comprises a substrate layer 12A, and multiple prism-type retroreflective elements 12B which are formed on one or both surfaces of the base layer 12A, wherein the angle of inclination of the optical axis of the prism-type retroreflective elements 12B is greater than 0°.
